Meg walks the Bolder Boulder 2011

Back in June, my mom, sis and myself walked the Bolder Boulder. It's a 10 mile race/party that meanders through the streets of Boulder, Colorado. They stagger the start times into sections. I think we were in G. So we didn't start till 9. They give you a little tag to put on your shoe and at every mile mark (or was it kilometer mark? Now I don't remember.) there was a pad you'd cross over and the system would track your time. You could check in by cell phone to see how you were doing. (That's how we checked in, right Kare?) I think we did the course in 103 minutes. Mind you, there was a lot to see along the way. We kinda did a fast walk & gawk.

The first bit of video is still photos taken on my camera. But then my battery died so I pulled out my Flip, which means that the rest is jittery footage as I was walking. If you get car-sick easily, you'll probably want to stop once you see movement.

Also, I added a few music tracks to fill in the dead zones sound-wise. But most of the music was being performed by bands along the route.

Oh, and I make some grammatical gaffs in there. Hey, it was all off the top of my head. Go easy on me.
